A soldier was seriously wounded by gunfire at a military base in northern Israel. He was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, during which he died of his wounds. This was reported by the IDF spokesperson, who noted that "notification has been given to his family. Following the incident, the Military Police has opened an investigation, and upon its completion, the findings will be transferred to the Military Advocate General for review."
