The Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Vice President of the European Union Commission, Teresa Ribera, who accused Israel of "genocide," stating that "Ribera has become a conduit for Hamas propaganda." Ribera said in a speech to students in Paris that "the genocide in Gaza exposes Europe's failure to act and speak with one voice, even as protests spread across European cities and 14 members of the UN Security Council call for an immediate ceasefire."
