80,000 visitors flock to nature reserves and parks during holiday

The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that approximately 80,000 visitors explored nature reserves and national parks across the country during the Shavuot holiday. The leading destinations were Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), Tel Ashkelon, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Caesarea, and the Dor-Habonim Beach and Ein Zukim nature reserves. About 6,200 visitors stayed at camping grounds, with Gan HaShlosha, Achziv Beach, Tal Grove and Tel Ashkelon being the most popular sites.
