House Speaker Mike Johnson said that AI company executives signed an agreement establishing accepted standards in the field during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. Trump published the document, which was agreed upon by the executives, on his Truth Social account and includes provisions stating that "each company will implement four layers of control and oversight." The document also states that "companies must implement strong internal control mechanisms to oversee their models' capabilities and their alignment with established goals and principles." The document is signed by Trump, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman, Elon Musk and Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang.
