Chief Superintendent Daniel Hadad, commander of the police Ayalon district, made a statement at the scene where a 48-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her partner, saying: "We arrived here with significant forces, conducted a situation assessment and currently have the murder scene and another scene where the suspect, who is her partner, has barricaded himself on the roof." According to him, the police "are negotiating with the suspect on the roof. The negotiation team is on the roof. There are no previous complaints regarding the couple. This is a tragic event and we are handling it at these stages and will provide more details later."
