Dina, the mother of reserve soldier Roy Wasserstein who took his own life, said in response to the IDF's announcement that he will not be recognized as a fallen soldier: "Unfortunately, he suffered trauma during active service, and post-trauma comes afterward. This is not a physical injury, it's a mental wound. Roy died due to the consequences of the battlefield. I hope that the outcry over Roy's death will bring about change and proper consideration for all the soldiers who have given their souls."
