The Foreign Ministry updated that it is monitoring the situation of Israelis in northern Ethiopia who are staying in areas where security has escalated. It was further stated on their behalf: "We are continuously examining options for leaving the area in coordination with local authorities and in accordance with developments and security conditions on the ground." Dozens of Israelis and other foreign nationals are trapped in and near the combat zone in Tigray with no ability to evacuate. All airports in the area are paralyzed and travel on the roads is dangerous.
