PMO: Col. Guy Markizeno to be appointed Netanyahu's military secretary

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Col. Guy Markizeno will be appointed as his military secretary, replacing Roman Gofman, who assumed his position as head of the Mossad. The PMO stated: 'Col. Markizeno will be promoted to the rank of brigadier general. Markizeno served as commander of Battalion 405, an artillery battalion, as commander of Fire Brigade 209, as commander of Fire Brigade 215, as head of the planning department in the Ground Forces and as chief of staff of the Northern Command. In his last position, Col. Markizeno served as the defense minister's military secretary.'
