National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said at the beginning of his Jewish Power faction meeting that "the deal on the table is dangerous and harms Israel's security. This is a deal that gives Hamas what it failed to take in battle." According to him, it is a deal "that discriminates between hostages, will allow Hamas to breathe and will fill their weapons stockpiles. We must not proceed with this deal. I'm not sure the direction of this deal fully aligns with Trump's signature. If the Prime Minister had approached Trump and said 'we must not allow Hamas to recover,' I have no doubt the President would have listened."
