The government will approve at its weekly meeting the transfer of ministerial powers from the Interior and Labor ministries to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This is due to the fact that there is no majority for appointing ministers at present – against the backdrop of the conscription exemption law crisis. Among the powers that will be transferred to Netanyahu are extending the appointment of the acting director general of the Labor Ministry and appointing an acting director general for the National Insurance Institute.
