The Israel Bar Association announced it will join the "Israel Stops" protest, which aims to shut down the economy for one day this coming Sunday, calling for the release of hostages. The chairman of the Israel Bar Association, Amit Becher, stated that the association "will continue the struggle to free all 50 hostages. This is a paramount moral, Zionist and Jewish imperative and a condition for Israel's security and existence. On Sunday, we will join the protest and allow the association's employees to participate without deducting from their salaries." They also called on large law firms "to act in the same way."
