The Finance Committee unanimously approved the appointment of Knesset member Ophir Katz as committee chairman - replacing MK Moshe Gafni who resigned following the crisis over the military service exemption law. The committee will convene this coming Sunday to discuss the proposed compensation framework for businesses affected by the war with Iran.
