Police filed an indictment against four suspects, including two brothers from the north, one of whom is a minor, and two residents of the south, who attempted to smuggle drugs across the border with Jordan. On August 22, the four were identified near the border fence as they threw 36 packages containing approximately 20 kg of hashish to the Jordanian side of the border. The suspects attempted to flee but were apprehended by IDF soldiers and arrested.
