Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the High Court justices over their approval yesterday of the anti-war demonstration at Habima Square in Tel Aviv. Netanyahu wrote: 'Unbelievable. While Jews are restricted during the holiday from praying at the Western Wall, the High Court approved a left-wing protest in Tel Aviv. Freedom of protest is important, but freedom of prayer is no less important. During wartime, only the Home Front Command determines security arrangements.' The Home Front Command did not oppose holding the demonstrations yesterday, but the High Court expanded the number of participants allowed at the pre-planned protest events. Meanwhile, today the High Court is hearing petitions seeking to authorize prayers at the Temple Mount and at the Western Wall.
