Police and the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division arrested three suspects in a case involving trafficking of military weapons - including a soldier serving at the Shayetet base in Atlit. As part of the case, three M-16 rifles were stolen directly from soldiers serving at the commando base. The arrested soldier is suspected of being behind the theft, and his detention was extended until next Wednesday at the military court. The two additional arrested civilians were brought today before the Haifa Magistrate's Court with a request to extend their detention.
