Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed the failure of the proposal to delay sanctions on Tehran at the UN Security Council, stating that "the US betrayed diplomacy, but the E3 countries buried it." He also thanked China and Russia for submitting the proposal and added: "We call on the President of the Security Council to declare the resolution illegal. Any attempt to reinstate canceled sanctions must be rejected. The E3 countries and the US bear full responsibility for the serious consequences of this decision."
