The chain has 350 branches spread across eight regions in Italy, and claims the decision came in response to the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. In a press release, the large chain stated: "We cannot remain indifferent to the ongoing violence, and in the shadow of the escalation in recent weeks, we have chosen to make a symbolic gesture that aligns with our values."
