Police Commissioner Danny Levy is on his way to the scene in Bnei Brak. Earlier, extremist ultra-Orthodox rioters overturned a patrol car and set a police motorcycle on fire, while officers evacuated two IDF female soldiers from the area. A statement from the commissioner said, "Lawbreakers committed serious acts that constitute an attack on symbols of the rule of law and included violence against security forces, causing damage and overturning a patrol car and burning a police motorcycle. I salute the officers for their determination and swift action in evacuating the soldiers. We will hold all those involved accountable! We are a state of law and will not allow thuggish behavior in our country."
