Sports Minister Miki Zohar called on the Football Association to conduct an investigation following ynet's exposure of racist statements by employees, saying: "The State of Israel is a large gathering of exiles from all over the world." According to him, "These are statements that have no place, I read them and was shocked. The time that has passed since the messages were written until their publication is indeed long but I expect the Football Association to conduct an internal review and ensure there are no such expressions, discriminatory treatment and racism in their operations these days."
