Canadian Economy Minister François-Philippe Champagne addressed tensions with the U.S. over tariffs, saying that the upcoming meeting of his counterparts from the Group of Seven industrialized nations (G7) in the next two days will focus on 'policies to restore global growth and stability.' According to him, the discussions to be held in Banff, Alberta, will deal with 'getting back to basics' and include talks on 'excess production capacity, non-market practices and financial crimes.'
