The IDF, Shin Bet and Police announced the thwarting of a Hamas terror cell in Bethlehem. "The organization planned to carry out shooting attacks in the immediate timeframe. As part of the operation, Shin Bet arrested about 40 operatives during 15 different activities carried out by Etzion Brigade reserve forces, Duvdevan unit forces and counter-terrorism units," the statement said. In addition, weapons used by the organization were seized, including an M16 rifle.
