Government trying to convince Haredim not to vote tomorrow in favor of dissolving the Knesset

The Haredim were presented with principles for a conscription outline based on what the Knesset's legal counsel is willing to defend in the Supreme Court. Before tomorrow's vote on the law to dissolve the Knesset, Government Secretary Yossi Fuchs is trying to get a one-week postponement from the Haredim, along with an additional channel from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - who says there are security developments. The government is working with United Torah Judaism chairman Moshe Gafni and with Shas, but not with Agudat Yisrael and Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf. Shas's Council of Torah Sages was supposed to convene today to decide how to vote - but the meeting was postponed until tomorrow.
