Oil prices surge back toward $100 per barrel amid threats to resume fighting

In its first trading day since the ceasefire announcement, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange closed with sharp gains. The TA-35 index rose 2.6%, TA-90 by 1.2% and TA-125 by 2.4%. In sectoral indices: TA Insurance surged 7%, TA Financials by around 4% and TA Energy by 3%. Clal Insurance shares jumped 13.1%, Summit by 10.9% and Meshek Energy by 10.7%. Nice plunged 9.2%, Electra Consumer Products by 7.8% and Reitailors by 5.4%. Meanwhile, following U.S. President Donald Trump's threats to resume fighting if Iran does not honor the agreement, oil prices are rising: crude (WTI) jumped to $102 per barrel, and Brent to around $100.
