Despite mysterious absence, Israel assumes: Khamenei's son is alive

|
Amid the multitude of reports and mystery surrounding the question of Mojtaba Khamenei's condition, the assessment in Israel has solidified that Iran's new supreme leader is alive. He is most likely suffering from an injury, but is not in life-threatening danger. Khamenei's son has yet to appear in public or release a video since being appointed to the position. Exiled opposition figures believe that Mojtaba is dead. Yesterday, Amir Pershad Ebrahimi, an exiled Iranian journalist and researcher, wrote on X that Khamenei passed away last week after being in a coma. Israel has no verification whatsoever of Ebrahimi's report and the working assumption is that Khamenei's son is alive. As for the ayatollah's level of functioning, opinions are divided.
