The prosecution filed an indictment in the Central District Traffic Court against an 18-year-old novice driver from southern Israel, for negligently causing the death of two passengers, including her mother, in an accident about a year ago. In the accident, which occurred on Highway 431 about a year ago, six additional people were injured. According to the indictment, the driver, who was then under 18, sharply swerved her vehicle into another lane, drove onto a traffic island and continued crossing lanes until she collided with another vehicle - as a result her mother and another passenger traveling with her were killed on the spot.
