Police and Shin Bet arrested a 16-year-old resident of central Israel on suspicion of carrying out various activities for Iranian entities in exchange for money. The investigation revealed that for several months, the suspect maintained contact with Iranian operatives who instructed him to purchase a mobile phone and install a dedicated application for communication with them. The investigation further revealed that as part of this connection, the suspect performed various tasks including: hiding money, photographing locations, printing posters and burning a page and banknote containing text criticizing the Prime Minister. Additionally, while abroad, his handlers offered to meet with him. The suspect reported this connection to authorities but continued to cooperate with them.
