Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich spoke at a press conference at the Ministry of Finance in Jerusalem, addressing damage data from the war with Iran. He said that "our teams have so far handled 14,583 claims for direct damage from Iranian attacks and assisted 2,775 evacuated residents - most of whom were accommodated in hotels through local authorities; in addition, 24 buildings have been identified for demolition. As part of the immediate response, the state is providing 500 shekels to each evacuating person and 1,500 shekels to the local authority for each evacuated resident."
