Palestinians reported that Khamis Iyad, a young Palestinian, died from smoke inhalation while trying to extinguish a fire in vehicles that were set ablaze by settlers in the village of Silwad, east of Ramallah. According to the Palestinians, settlers also set houses and vehicles on fire in the villages of Ramon and Abu Falah in the Ramallah district.
