Iranian official: 'We may open Strait of Hormuz tomorrow or day after – under our control'

|
A senior Iranian official involved in talks with the U.S. told Reuters news agency that "we may open the Strait of Hormuz in a limited and controlled manner" tomorrow or Friday. The official added that "if we reach an understanding regarding a framework for talks, the strait may be opened under Iranian control. The ceasefire is fragile, we prefer long-term peace but are not afraid to return to war."
