Housing and Construction Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf has resigned from the government. In his resignation letter, he wrote that "ahead of the approval of the 2025 budget, the spiritual leadership of United Torah Judaism met and decided that without progress by Shavuot, significant measures would be taken against the coalition and government. Despite my repeated warnings, no agreement indicating progress was formed, and consequently it was decided to support the bill to dissolve the Knesset. Unfortunately, the bill was not approved, and according to various reports, the understandings reached do not align with the clear agreements that were signed. Therefore, I can no longer take part as a member of this government."
