The sketch show 'The Israelis' by the What's the Connection trio will return to Channel 13, the network officially announced. The show, which aired on the network during the days of Channel 2, became a cult favorite over the years thanks to particularly memorable sketches, regular characters and the narration of Dan Kaner. Despite the popularity it gained, only eight episodes were produced. Channel 13 stated that the decision to bring the show back to television was made following the signing of Assi Israelof to host 'Money Cab.' Alongside him, his fellow trio members Zion Baruch and Shalom Michaelshvili will also return to star in the show.
