Police detained 16 suspects for questioning over alleged involvement in underage marriages during a raid on targets in Moshav Yavne'el in the Lower Galilee. The raid resulted in the detention of minors and adults from their immediate environment who are suspected of having recently married or having begun making concrete preparations for an illegal wedding ceremony. Several weeks ago, more than 20 suspects were detained for questioning over alleged involvement in underage marriages in the community.
