President Isaac Herzog said at the state memorial ceremony for Israel's fallen soldiers whose burial place is unknown that efforts must continue with all force to bring Ron Arad and Yehuda Katz to burial in Israel. According to the president: "This is the supreme covenant between a state and its soldiers that we must uphold even after decades." Herzog also said: "This year we succeeded in bringing back Hadar Goldin as well after 11 painful years and for all of us another painful and long circle has closed."
