Rebel News reported that the terrorist who carried out the shooting in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood was found in possession of a 104-page manifesto containing explicitly antisemitic, anti-Zionist, communist rhetoric and grievances typically associated with the 'incel' movement, an online community of men who believe women unjustly reject their advances. Police continue to claim that the motive for the attack remains unknown. In the shooting, which took place in a neighborhood with a high concentration of Jews, police officer Mohamed Lamine Ben Reddouane was killed, as well as Israeli Michael Mizrahi, who was mistakenly identified as one of the terrorists and shot by forces at the scene.
