The panel of Supreme Court justices hearing petitions for and against the method of appointing the next Shin Bet chief decided to give an additional week for negotiations between Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and the government in an attempt to reach an agreement between them. According to the justices, the decision was made following the request of the parties.
