Jerusalem Pride Parade begins as police ban anti-Ben Gvir merchandise

|
The Jerusalem March for Pride and Tolerance is underway with an estimated 5,000 participants. Before the event began, police approached a booth run by the 'Mechazkim' organization that was selling stickers and shirts opposing National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and promoting anti-war messages, requesting them to cease their activities. According to police, 'the parade is not a political event.' Officers were also instructed to 'be alert' for Palestinian flags during the march and confiscate them if found.
