Einav Zangauker: 'Because of Israel's insistence on a few meters of land, Matan will pay with his life'

|
Einav Zangauker, whose son Matan Zangauker has been held captive in Gaza for 659 days, said during the hostage families' statement outside the Begin Gate in Tel Aviv that "If the negotiations collapse, my Matan will collapse too, he and another 49 male and female hostages will collapse. All the conceptions that Ben Gvir and Smotrich imposed on us have failed. We tried everything except one thing - the Israeli government never put forward a comprehensive agreement that would end the war and bring everyone back. All of Israel's approaches have led to a dead end, all attempts have failed. We have defeated Hamas, and because of Israel's insistence on a few meters of land, Matan will pay with his life."
