The IDF Spokesperson addressed the shooting incident involving the diplomatic delegation in Jenin, stating that "According to an initial investigation, the delegation deviated from their route and entered a restricted area. IDF forces operating at the location fired warning shots. There was no damage or injuries." The IDF Spokesperson added that "The Head of the Civil Administration, Brigadier General Hisham Ibrahim, has instructed unit officers to immediately communicate with representatives of the countries involved, and will soon hold personal discussions with the diplomats to update them on the findings of the initial investigation."
