Head of the 'Yashar!' party Gadi Eisenkot addressed the attempted attack on the Fly Dubai flight and said that 'those who evade inquiry and lessons learned for three years bring disasters of this kind upon the State of Israel. The Transportation Ministry is managed at an unprofessional level. In a functioning state, the transportation minister would have resigned and the prime minister would have appointed a serious commission of inquiry. This was a systematic approach in many, many flights. This is the undermining of state institutions.' The remarks were made at the Reichman University annual international conference on counter-terrorism led by the Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT).
