The negotiation round between Russia and Ukraine on ending the war concluded in Istanbul after about an hour. The head of the Ukrainian delegation presented Russian representatives with a list of names of children taken captive by Russian forces during the war, whom Kyiv demands to be returned. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced after the talks that "Moscow and Kyiv are planning additional prisoner of war exchanges." This follows the previous prisoner exchange conducted by both countries after the last round of negotiations in Turkey.
