Hostage survivor Mika Engel, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz with her family and released with her mother Karina and sister Yuval, wrote about her father Ronen who was murdered and remains in captivity: "Today is day 700 and I just wonder when this will end. When will my father be able to return to the land he loved so much, to his home, to his kibbutz, and for his family to have closure? Dad, I want you Dad, I really want you! Come back already! I never thought I would need to wait for your funeral. I love you Dad and I won't stop fighting for you, until you return - and then I'll continue fighting so you won't be forgotten. Love you forever."
