The Joint List announced it will recommend Yashar Party Chairman Gadi Eisenkot as candidate for forming the government. An official statement said the decision was unanimous and that 'this was not a simple decision. Despite our determination to bring down Netanyahu, the opposition camp led by Eisenkot has not yet demonstrated the required willingness to confront Netanyahu's path and fight against incitement toward Arab citizens. Even though Eisenkot is receiving more recommendations than Netanyahu, we see importance in widening the gap between them.' The Joint List delegation is expected to arrive at the President's Residence at 4:40 p.m.
