The IDF announced that under the direction of Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, a surprise drill named "Dawn Rising 2.0" has begun to test alertness and readiness to deal with a sudden, complex and large-scale multi-front event. As part of the drill, commanders and forces in all regional commands, divisions and branches were mobilized, and reserves and decision-making processes are also being tested. The IDF noted that the drill is being conducted as part of preparations for the holiday period and learning lessons from the fighting and the events of October 7. Throughout the day, active movement of security forces and aircraft will be felt across the country, and the IDF clarified that there is no concern of a security incident.
