|
German prosecutors announced they have identified the suspect in the anti-Semitic attack that occurred in Munich in February 1970, in which seven people were murdered in a nursing home arson. According to the announcement, the suspect was a young man who belonged to Germany's far right, who was 25 years old at the time of the attack and died in 2020. The investigation "clearly points to him as the perpetrator," the Munich prosecutor's office stated. The suspect, who according to prosecutors had a "Hitler obsession," used gasoline to set fire to a Jewish community building that housed the nursing home.
