Transportation Minister Miri Regev addressed the return of Israelis stranded abroad, confirmed Nadav Eyal's exclusive report yesterday on ynet and said: "More than 100,000 are stranded abroad. I'm aware of the distress but we won't take the risk of bringing in a plane and God forbid having a ground incident resulting in more than 300 deaths." According to her, "It will take time but we have given the OK and we are starting with Operation Safe Return of Israelis home." Minister Regev added that "The return of Israelis home is being carried out by the Ministry of Transportation in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense."
