Hostages' families headquarters demands Dermer resign as negotiation team chief

|Updated:
The headquarters of families of hostages has called for Minister Dermer's resignation from his position as head of the negotiation team. 'It has been 100 days since you were appointed as head of the negotiation team for returning the hostages. Upon your appointment, we, the families, were promised that you would lead to a breakthrough in negotiations and achieve the release of additional hostages. In practice, the exact opposite has occurred. You should show responsibility and take the necessary step – hand over the keys, return your mandate and make way for a full-time negotiation team leader,' the statement read.
