Herzog condemns attack on Arab bus drivers in Jerusalem

|
President Isaac Herzog condemned the attack on Arab bus drivers by Beitar Jerusalem fans last night in Jerusalem, stating: "I strongly condemn the violent attack on two Arab bus drivers last night in Jerusalem - it is unacceptable that workers performing their duties diligently should fear for their lives solely because of their identity." He added, "Violence of any kind, especially when motivated by racial hatred, is wrong, severe and contradicts our values as a society." He also said: "Sports fans should be a source of pride, not violence."
