Deputy Minister Almog Cohen announced that he has withdrawn his resignation from the government, saying that the decision came "following the cancellation of today's discussions at the National Council for Planning and Construction regarding the civilian Ramat David airfield." Additionally, it was reported that "in parallel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene an urgent discussion with the military regarding the advancement of an airfield in the Negev." Earlier, Netanyahu summoned Cohen for a conversation to prevent his resignation.
