Major General (Res.) Noam Tibon said at a press conference calling for an end to the war that "at a time when everyone already knew that three armor corps soldiers were killed in the difficult battle, the Israeli government was engaged in petty politics of the draft-dodging law that harms IDF soldiers and Israel's security." General Tibon called on Israeli citizens "to join us in the struggle to end the war" and added: "Leave your homes and join us for a massive demonstration that will express the desire of 80% of Israel's citizens to end the war in Gaza and return all hostages in one move. The demonstration will be held next Thursday at the intersection of Shaul Hamelech and Begin streets in Tel Aviv."
