The National Guard of Ukraine announced that six of its personnel were killed and more than 10 were wounded in a Russian missile strike during operations in the northern Sumy region. Meanwhile, the Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Kursk region in western Russia, his first visit since Russian forces repelled Ukrainian troops who had entered the region last summer. The statement noted that Putin visited the region's nuclear power plant among other locations.
